EPLab Works app is dedicated to Windows OS systems. However, it is very easy to run the app on macOS after installing Wine HQ app (https://www.winehq.org; this app translates all Windows based instructions into macOS ‘language’).

There are two steps necessary:

  1. Install XQuartz: https://www.xquartz.org/
  2. Install Wine HQ: https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/macosx/download.html (select “Installer for “Wine Stable”)

Then, Windows based applications can be run just by clicking on the *.exe file.

Once you install both Quartz and Wine, copy EPLab Works installer file into a dedicated folder on your mac, run it and follow instructions as described in Installation page.

 

NOTE: In case of problems with Wine HQ installation there is alternative, CrossOver app (https://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover-mac/download).
